Pro-Palestinian demonstrators descended against the White House on Saturday night in a furious demonstration.

They chanted “f–k Joe Biden” and almost tore down a reinforced fence. The Secret Service said that non-essential individuals were evacuated from the vicinity as a precautionary measure in response to the aggressive display.

According to a Secret Service spokesperson, the anti-scale fencing sustained some “temporary damage,” but the main White House fence and adjacent buildings remained untouched. Lt. Paul Mayhair stated, “The issues were promptly repaired on-site by U.S. Secret Service support teams.”

Video footage captured the crowd vigorously shaking the fence, causing a section to become partially dislodged. Simultaneously, Secret Service police pushed back to prevent ralliers from entering the grounds. Some protesters threw water bottles and sticks broken off their Palestinian flags at officers, while others attempted to climb the fence.

“As a precaution, some members of the media and staff in proximity to Pennsylvania Avenue were temporarily relocated while the issue was being addressed,” mentioned Mayhair. Notably, no arrests were made during the demonstration.

Earlier, the Secret Service had erected the fencing in anticipation of the planned culmination of a march through Washington DC, where thousands of protesters called for an end to Israeli military action in Gaza.

The rally highlighted criticism of President Biden’s support for Israel, emphasizing an “emergency sale” that sent nearly 14,000 rounds of tank ammunition worth $106 million to the Jewish State last month.

The protest heavily focused on the substantial death toll in Gaza during the 100 days since Israel retaliated for Hamas’ Oct. 7 surprise attack. According to the Health Ministry in the Hamas-run territory, more than 23,800 people in Gaza, nearly two-thirds of whom are women and children, have been killed during Israel’s counterattack campaign.

Israel declared war in response to Hamas’ unprecedented cross-border attack on Oct. 7, during which the Islamic militant group killed approximately 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and took 250 others hostage. Presently, an estimated 132 hostages are still being held in Gaza.
