A Prince Harry doppelgänger caused a stir at Kate Middleton’s annual Christmas carol service on December 6, hosted at Westminster Abbey and set to air on Christmas Eve.
The look-alike, bearing an uncanny resemblance to the Duke of Sussex with his signature red hair and beard, was spotted wearing the navy ceremonial uniform of the British Army.
Appearing at the 35-second mark in the event trailer, the mystery attendee added a touch of intrigue to the festive celebration.
The service, titled Together at Christmas, showcased a heartwarming message from Middleton, 42, who spoke about the importance of unity and reflection during the holiday season.
“Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year,” she said in the trailer. “It is a time for presents, tinsel, and mince pies, but it’s also a time to slow down and reflect on the deeper things that connect us all.”
Middleton emphasized the spirit of love, kindness, and forgiveness, which she described as the essence of Christmas. The event also saw the attendance of Prince William and their three children: Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
The Princess of Wales, who completed chemotherapy earlier this year following a cancer diagnosis, looked radiant in a long red coat adorned with a black velvet bow.
Absent from the celebration were Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan Markle, who remain estranged from the royal family. The Sussexes, now residing in California, were not present at the carol service and are believed to have been excluded from the royal guest list for Christmas festivities at Sandringham House.
Instead, Harry and Meghan plan to spend Christmas in Montecito with their children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, alongside Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.
“Meghan’s mom Doria will join them at home, and they’ll ensure the children have a joyful day, despite not being around extended family,” a source told Closer.
The Sussexes have not celebrated Christmas with the royal family since 2018, and King Charles III, who has also faced health challenges this year, is reportedly disheartened by their absence.
“There’s nothing King Charles wants more than to see his family united and for his sons to put the past behind them,” an insider revealed to the Mirror.
The King’s hopes for a family reunion remain unfulfilled, but the sentiment underscores his desire to heal divisions within the royal household. For now, the spotlight remains on Kate Middleton’s efforts to bring people together during the festive season, marking yet another meaningful moment in her growing royal legacy.
