Police Search for Missing Channel 4 Star Katherine Watson After Welfare Concerns Raised
Authorities have launched a search for Katherine Watson, a 50-year-old star of Channel 4’s ‘Geordie Hospital,’ following growing concerns for her welfare.
Watson was last seen in the Heaton Road area of Newcastle at approximately 1 p.m. yesterday.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police stated, “The 50-year-old was last seen in the Heaton Road area, and we’re increasingly concerned for her welfare.”
Katherine, a former Royal Military Police officer, is described as a white woman, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a slim build and short light grey hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a green hat, a dark hooded top, dark trousers, and carrying a backpack.
She is also noted to have several tattoos on her arms and a military tattoo on her chest. Watson has connections to the Heaton and Jesmond areas of Newcastle, but authorities believe she may have traveled further.
Police are urging anyone with information about Katherine’s whereabouts to come forward and assist in the search.
