Comedian Pete Davidson is preparing for fatherhood as his girlfriend Elsie Hewitt announced the couple are expecting their first child.
Hewitt shared the news on Instagram Wednesday, sparking widespread excitement among fans and followers.
The 29-year-old model took to social media with a candid caption, joking, “Welp now everyone knows we had sex,” alongside a series of images documenting their pregnancy journey.
One photo showed Davidson shirtless, gently cradling Hewitt’s baby bump, while another captured them attending an ultrasound appointment.
Their relationship was first confirmed in March after they were spotted together vacationing in Palm Beach, Florida.
At the time, sources told Page Six that Hewitt appreciated Davidson’s desire for privacy, and his family — including his mother and sister — had already embraced her.
By the end of March, Hewitt had made their romance Instagram official, posting a video of the “Saturday Night Live” alum in a white bathrobe to her Stories. The couple’s social media posts have since offered rare glimpses into their growing bond.
In May, sources confirmed the couple had taken a major step forward by moving in together. They reportedly split their time between Davidson’s home in upstate New York and a brownstone rental in Brooklyn.
“They’re really happy together,” a source close to the couple told People. “It’s a very genuine relationship, and things have been going great since they started living together.”
The pair made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 13th Annual Blossom Ball in New York City that same month, showcasing their growing connection to the public.
Days later, they were seen courtside at a New York Knicks game on May 16. During a past interview, Davidson had openly shared his desire to become a father. “My favourite thing ever, which I’m yet to achieve, is I wanna have a kid,” he said.
Davidson elaborated that starting a family was something he was actively preparing for. “I’m so excited for that chapter,” he said, adding he’s been working on himself so he’s ready when the time comes.
Before dating Davidson, Hewitt had been romantically linked to actor Jason Sudeikis in early 2024. Her relationship with Davidson has since taken centre stage, with the couple now preparing to welcome their first child.
