Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to unleash the full might of the Israeli Air Force on Tehran, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict following Israel’s large-scale strike on Iran’s nuclear program.
In a video address to the nation on Saturday, Netanyahu declared, “We will hit every place, every site, every target of the Ayatollah’s regime. What they have felt so far is nothing compared to what they will feel in the coming days.”

Earlier, Israeli officials issued a stark warning that Iran’s capital “will burn” if missile attacks on Israel persist.
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) claimed to have severely damaged Iran’s air defences overnight, intensifying the aerial exchange between the two countries.
The IDF released footage early Saturday showing strikes on multiple targets in Tehran amid ongoing missile exchanges. The military reported that over the past 24 hours, naval missile ships, air defence systems, fighter jets, and helicopters intercepted dozens of drones launched from Iran toward Israel.

The escalating attacks have already resulted in at least three Israeli deaths and numerous injuries.
Two of the fatalities, including 73-year-old Yisrael Aloni, occurred when Iranian rockets hit homes in the Tel Aviv suburb of Rishon Lezion. A woman critically injured in the barrage remains trapped under rubble, while 34 others sustained injuries in the Tel Aviv area.
In a firm statement after a military briefing, Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, warned, “If [Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali] Khamenei continues to fire missiles at the Israeli home front — Tehran will burn.”
Despite the mounting pressure, Ayatollah Khamenei remained resolute, promising continued retaliation. “We will not allow them to escape safely from this great crime they committed,” he said in a video message following Israel’s surprise attack on Friday.
The strike reportedly killed at least 20 senior Iranian commanders, including the head of the Revolutionary Guard.
Israel’s main international airport remains closed until further notice amid the conflict, as the IDF confirmed it launched additional overnight strikes targeting dozens of sites, including air defences in Tehran.
On Saturday, Israel updated the death toll of its targeted strikes on Iran’s nuclear program, revealing nine scientists and experts were killed, including Bakhouei Karimi, Mansour Asgari, and Saeed Barji, specialists in mechanics, physics, and materials engineering.
Overall, about 70 military leaders and personnel were reported killed, with an estimated 320 wounded.
Both Israel and Iran have vowed to continue their attacks, heightening fears of a prolonged and wider Middle Eastern conflict. Netanyahu reiterated that Israel’s goal is to eliminate any Iranian threat to its security.
