Netanyahu: Israel Will Not Accept Iranian Missile Attacks, Says No Nation Would Tolerate Such Strikes
Tel Aviv, October 5, 2024 – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly condemned a recent missile strike by Iran, stating that Israel “will not accept” such an attack on its sovereignty.
In a press briefing, Netanyahu emphasised that “no other country in the world would accept such an attack,” signalling Israel’s firm stance in the face of escalating regional tensions.
In a related development, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have issued an evacuation order in a southern suburb of Beirut, Lebanon. This area is known to be a stronghold of Hezbollah, a militant group backed by Iran.
The evacuation order has heightened concerns about potential further military action in the region as tensions between Israel, Hezbollah, and Iran continue to rise.
The situation remains fluid, with international observers closely monitoring developments to assess the potential for wider conflict.
