Mother of Alleged Georgia School Shooter Colt Gray Faces Charges for Abusing Her Elderly Mother, Taping Her to a Chair
A Georgia woman, Marcee Gray, has been indicted for allegedly abusing her elderly mother, Deborah Polhamus, in a disturbing incident that reportedly involved taping her to a chair, stealing her phone, and damaging her home.
The charges come as Gray’s teenage son faces allegations of killing four people at Apalachee High School.
According to reports from The Atlanta-Journal Constitution, the abuse took place in November, with Polhamus allegedly bound to a chair for nearly 24 hours in her Fitzgerald home. Gray, 43, has been charged with multiple offences, including exploitation and intimidation of an older adult, false imprisonment, criminal damage to property in the second degree, and theft.
This case adds another layer of complexity to an already tragic situation surrounding Gray’s family.
