A Brazilian model has accused her former partner, Paraguayan footballer Jorge Báez, of raping, assaulting and imprisoning her throughout their three-year relationship, releasing harrowing images and evidence to support her claims.
Jannah Nebbeling, 29, alleged that she was tied to a staircase, repeatedly beaten, and sexually abused by Báez, 34, during what she described as a traumatic period marked by physical, psychological, and emotional violence.
Báez has not publicly commented on the allegations, but according to reports, he told Paraguayan media he would only respond if compelled to do so by a court.

Nebbeling, who is also an influencer, claims she was held against her will for over a year in Paraguay before managing to escape and return to Brazil, where she filed a criminal complaint.
The model said she first met Báez at the age of 18 and entered into a relationship that she later came to describe as manipulative and violent.

She alleges that during their time together, Báez used ropes to restrain her and assaulted her while wearing boxing gloves, purportedly to avoid leaving visible bruises on her face.
“He tied me to a ladder with ropes, assaulted me with boxing gloves, and bit my hand,” she told Brazilian authorities, describing some of the injuries she sustained.

Nebbeling said she suffered multiple injuries, including severe bruising to her lips, eyes, limbs, and feet — reportedly the result of being stomped on during violent episodes.
She also accused Báez of sexually abusing her while she was unconscious and claimed he exercised full control over her access to social media and outside communication.

Graphic photos posted by Nebbeling online show her bruised and bound to a staircase. She claims the images were taken during one of the alleged assaults inside a home in Paraguay.
Additional evidence reportedly submitted by Nebbeling includes medical documentation, screenshots of private messages, and audio recordings detailing the abuse.

In one online statement, she wrote: “This is me, Jannah Nebbeling, tied to a staircase, tortured and completely isolated from the world. This is what the law calls unlawful deprivation of liberty — or rather, false imprisonment within a brutal cycle of domestic violence.”

She added: “I want justice. For myself, for every silenced woman, and for those who are no longer alive to speak.”
Nebbeling said that during her confinement, she was only permitted to speak with individuals pre-approved by Báez, further isolating her from friends, family, and outside help.
She described her living conditions in Paraguay as a “private prison” where she was closely monitored and denied freedom of movement.

According to Nebbeling, her initial attempt to report the abuse to a doctor in Paraguay was dismissed. She claimed she was warned that Báez could leverage his financial resources and local influence to silence her and potentially retaliate.
After returning to Brazil, Nebbeling filed her complaint at the women’s police station in Jacarepaguá, Rio de Janeiro. She said officers initially dismissed her claims before the case was taken seriously.
Authorities in Paraguay have reportedly requested international cooperation to help clarify the allegations and pursue possible criminal proceedings.

Báez, a midfielder who has played for clubs including Olimpia, Arsenal de Sarandí, and Resende, is reportedly aware of the accusations but has yet to respond publicly in detail.
The investigation into the alleged rape, abuse, and illegal detention is currently being led by Brazilian police. It remains ongoing.
