In an interview on Monday, Former First Lady Melania Trump expressed her enthusiasm and confidence about possibly returning to the White House.
Speaking to Fox & Friends, Melania stated she is prepared to take on an expanded role against her husband, President-elect Donald Trump, and is eager for another opportunity to serve the nation.

Reflecting on her first term, Melania described it as challenging. She cited limited access to resources and information during the transition from President Barack Obama’s administration.
“The first time was challenging; we didn’t have much information. The previous administration withheld the information from us,” she said.
However, she noted that this time feels markedly different. “I have everything. I have the plans, have already packed, and selected the furniture. So it’s a very different transition the second time this time.”

Melania emphasized her readiness to help her husband as they work to “put the country back in shape,” adding that she has gained a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and expectations of the First Lady role.
“The first time was about learning the rules and the process. Now I feel confident and prepared,” she said.
During the interview, Melania addressed her challenges in her first term, particularly how the public perceived her. “I just feel that people didn’t accept me.

Maybe they didn’t understand me the way they do now. And I didn’t have much support,” she said. She pushed back against the notion that her role was merely supportive, asserting her independence. “Maybe some people see me as just the president’s wife, but I’m standing on two feet. I have my thoughts; I have my own ‘yes’ and ‘no.'”
Melania also highlighted her role as one of her husband’s closest advisers, noting that she is committed to contributing where she can while she doesn’t always agree with his decisions.
“I give him my advice, and sometimes he listens, and sometimes he doesn’t, but that’s OK,” she said.

Looking forward, Melania shared her priorities for a second term, which include balancing her roles as a mother, wife, and First Lady.
She also mentioned her upcoming Amazon Prime documentary, which will document her transition back to the White House and provide insight into her vision for the role.
“I think it will be an exciting four years”, she said, expressing confidence and optimism for the future.
