Singer Meghan Trainor recently showcased a striking weight loss transformation, sparking admiration and controversy among her fans.

The 31-year-old artist shared a series of Instagram photos last week, where she posed in a miniskirt and white T-shirt, highlighting her slimmed-down physique.

However, Trainor’s new look led to speculation among social media users, with some accusing her of using the weight loss drug Ozempic. One comment read,

“All about that bass? Until Ozempic, then you’re all about that treble.” Another user sarcastically remarked, “Body positive until you can get your hands on Ozempic.”

Others simply wrote, “Ozempic is crazy,” while some questioned her past advocacy for body positivity, commenting, “Oh, so we’re not all about that bass anymore?”

Amid the speculation, other fans flooded her post with compliments. One admirer wrote, “Okay, someone hires this girl as a model!” while another called her “stunning.” Her husband, “Spy Kids” actor Daryl Sabara, also praised her, writing, “Just the prettiest woman in the world.”

Trainor has previously been open about her weight loss journey, revealing in November 2022 that she lost 60 pounds after reaching her heaviest weight following the birth of her son, Riley.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight Canada, she shared, “I was in a dark place, and I wanted to be in a great place for my son.” She emphasized that she focused on daily exercise and made gradual progress, adding, “I was very dedicated, and I started seeing the pounds come off, one week at a time.”
The Grammy winner also credited healthy eating habits and portion control as crucial factors in her transformation.

“I learned that I do like healthy food, and I learned what portions mean,” she explained. She also noted that regular workouts improved her mental health, stating, “My brain is so happy when I exercise.”
During a December interview on NBC’s “Today”, Trainor shared that lifting weights has played a key role in maintaining her fitness.

“I try to go [to the gym] three times a week.
I didn’t know lifting weights would change my life so much,” she said. As a mother to two young children, Riley (4) and Barry (1), she emphasized the importance of staying active, adding, “I’ve got to lift them and chase them. I’m exhausted.”
Beyond her fitness journey, Trainor has also spoken about her experience with cosmetic procedures. On her “Workin’ on It” podcast, she admitted to getting excessive Botox, which affected her ability to smile.
“I got too much Botox, and I need help!” she confessed, revealing that a “lip flip” procedure left her struggling to express herself. “This is as big as I can smile. My face hurts even to try,” she said.
While Trainor’s transformation continues to draw attention, she remains open about the challenges of navigating beauty standards, self-confidence, and fitness in the public eye.
