Rapper Megan Thee Stallion gave fans an unexpected behind-the-scenes look at the exclusive 2025 Met Gala by secretly filming moments from inside the highly restricted event.
Attending the annual fashion celebration on Monday night, the 30-year-old artist captured candid footage on her phone, later sharing it on Instagram.

This year’s gala theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” brought out bold fashion statements and a high-profile guest list — but also the usual ban on phones and social media enforced by organisers, including Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

Defying the no-phone policy, Megan cheekily captioned her video reel, “Hottie Cam in thee MET GALA 👀😏.” In one clip, she smiles and says, “I snuck the phone inside: Cheese!” while chatting with actress Cynthia Erivo. Other moments show her sampling caviar and cornbread hors d’oeuvres with stars like Angel Reese and Doechii, and mingling with Serena Williams, Angela Bassett, and designer Michael Kors.
Fans flooded her post with amused reactions. “Typical Aquarius breaking all the rules,” one follower wrote. Another joked, “Thank you for this forbidden footage, sis,” while a third warned, “Here before Anna makes you delete this.”

Earlier that evening, Megan arrived in showstopping style, wearing a shimmering silver gown and white fur coat designed by Michael Kors, who joined her on the Met steps. Her look was completed with diamond earrings, silver nails, and a high ponytail.
The Grammy-winning artist is a familiar face at the Met Gala, previously attending in 2022 in a gold Moschino gown and 2021 in a pink strapless Coach dress.
