Man Dies in Hospital After Being Shot at Dublin Restaurant

A man named Jason Hennessy Snr was shot on Christmas Eve at Browne’s Steakhouse in Blanchardstown, Dublin. A relative drove him to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, where he had been in critical condition for the previous 11 days.

Unfortunately, he died as a result of his injuries, and an inquiry into his death is currently underway. On the night of the incident, the gunman had targeted him.

Tristan Sherry, one of the gunmen, was overpowered and fatally injured on the night of the attack. Another murder investigation is taking place into his death, and three men have been arrested. One of them, Michael Andrecut, 22, with an address at Sheephill Avenue in Dublin 15, was charged with Mr Sherry’s murder and was brought before a special court sitting last Saturday and remanded in custody. Another man is due in court tomorrow morning, while a third man is being questioned at a garda station in west Dublin.

The investigations are ongoing, and gardaí have appealed to witnesses or those with information about the incident to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station.
