Lady Gaga’s Father, Joe Germanotta, Endorses Donald Trump for 2024 Presidential Election
Joe Germanotta, the father of pop superstar Lady Gaga, has publicly endorsed former President Donald Trump for the 2024 election.
During a Thursday appearance on Fox & Friends, Germanotta said, “I endorse Donald Trump. I endorse his policies.”
His endorsement comes just days after a second assassination attempt against Trump, as the 2024 race remains close in several key battleground states. Germanotta contrasted Trump with Vice President Kamala Harris, stating, “They’re two vastly different people. One of them is pure, and he’s a patriot. The other will say whatever she needs to get elected.”
Though a recent Fox News poll shows Harris leading Trump by two points, Trump remains favoured by voters on critical issues such as the economy, immigration, and public safety. Germanotta, a New York City restaurant owner, emphasised his support for Trump’s policies, citing low fuel and food prices, strong public safety, and a focus on keeping jobs in the U.S.
On immigration, Germanotta criticized the Biden-Harris administration’s policies, calling them “an invasion” and noting that they have negatively impacted his business as fewer customers frequent his restaurant. He clarified that his decision is based on Trump’s policies, not his personality, adding, “Donald, he’s abrasive. But he’s a patriot.”
