According to multiple sources, Kylian Mbappé is set to join Real Madrid once his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires this summer.
The 25-year-old French forward has been linked with a move to the Spanish giants for several years, but PSG have been reluctant to let go of their star player, who joined them from Monaco in 2017 for a whopping €180 million.
However, Mbappé has refused to sign a new deal with the Ligue 1 champions . And has made it clear that he wants to play for Real Madrid, his childhood dream club. He is expected to announce his decision to join Los Blancos next week and will arrive at the Bernabeu on a free transfer in July.
Mbappé has been in sensational form for PSG this season, scoring 29 goals and providing seven assists in 28 appearances in all competitions. He has also helped the club win five league titles, four French Cups, and the Champions League final in 2020.
However, he has not been able to achieve his ultimate goal of lifting the European trophy with PSG, and he believes that he has a better chance of doing so with Real Madrid, who have won the competition a record 13 times.
