England defender Kyle Walker has publicly apologised to his wife, Annie Kilner, after fathering a child with model Lauryn Goodman. This marks the second child Walker has had with Goodman, who gave birth to their son in 2020, while Walker already had three children with Kilner.
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, the 33-year-old Manchester City player expressed remorse for his actions, acknowledging the pain he has caused his wife. Walker admitted to making “idiot choices” and “idiot decisions,” taking full responsibility for his behaviour.
Walker revealed that he and Kilner are currently expecting their fourth child despite the strain caused by his actions. Kilner discovered Walker’s infidelity when Goodman contacted her via Instagram.
This isn’t the first time Walker has faced public scrutiny for his actions. In 2020, he made headlines for hosting a party at his Cheshire home, violating lockdown measures in the UK. Following this incident, Manchester City promised to subject Walker to an internal disciplinary procedure.
Reflecting on his past behavior, Walker acknowledged his poor decision-making and took full responsibility during an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live. Despite the challenges, he expressed a commitment to moving forward.
Currently, Walker and Kilner are reportedly spending some time apart, as reported by The Sun.
