Kourtney Kardashian Shuts Down Body Shamer on 45th Birthday: ‘I LOVE this Body!’
Kourtney Kardashian, the mother of four, recently stood up to a social media troll who criticised an Instagram photo shared by her sister, Kim Kardashian.
In the snapshot featuring Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian in bikinis, a commenter assumed Kourtney wouldn’t like the photo due to its unflattering nature.
However, Kourtney surprised everyone by expressing her love for the image, emphasising the cherished memories made with her sisters and children.
In her response, Kourtney defended the photo and celebrated her postpartum body, acknowledging the journey it took to bring her four children into the world.
She highlighted the unrealistic pressure on women to quickly return to their pre-pregnancy shapes, advocating for self-compassion and acceptance during all stages of motherhood.
“This isn’t the first time Kourtney has spoken out about body image and self-acceptance. Earlier this month, she shared a candid post on her Instagram Story, reminding her followers that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, especially during pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
Meanwhile, Kourtney’s husband, Travis Barker, also showered her with love on her birthday despite playful teasing in an Instagram slideshow. Alongside humorous images, Barker expressed gratitude for his wife, calling her the “husband of [his] dreams,” to which Kourtney responded with equal affection.
Kourtney Kardashian’s confident and positive attitude towards her body inspires women everywhere, promoting self-love and acceptance in a society often focused on unrealistic beauty standards.
