Based on the doctor’s advice, scheduled meetings and events at Dumfries House in East Ayrshire for Thursday and Friday have been postponed. This adjustment was made to inform guests, including foreign dignitaries and members of the Cabinet, who were planning to travel to Scotland.

Simultaneously, Kensington Palace announced that the Princess of Wales was in the hospital recovering from surgery.
