King Charles expressed his solidarity with the UK Armed Forces following reports that his travel plans were affected by ongoing cancer treatment.
On June 29, Buckingham Palace released a new photo of the monarch to commemorate Armed Forces Day, as reported by The Sun. The picture was taken before his cancer diagnosis.
Accompanying the portrait, Buckingham Palace said: “A new portrait of The King has been released to mark Armed Forces Day. His Majesty serves as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Services.”
In the photograph, King Charles is dressed in his Field Marshal No1 Full Ceremonial Frock Coat adorned with medals, a sword, and decorations.
The release of this portrait follows reports suggesting that the King of England was disappointed about missing a crucial royal visit to New Zealand due to health concerns, as noted by The Mirror.
