From waist trainers to jaw shapers, Kim Kardashian’s Skims brand has expanded its influence once again — this time by targeting the face.
On Tuesday, Skims launched the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap, a $48 beauty accessory designed to contour the jawline during sleep.

The latest addition to Kardashian’s ever-growing shapewear empire features stretchy fabric intended to “sculpt” the lower face overnight.
According to Skims’ Instagram announcement, the product is crafted from the company’s signature compression material and infused with collagen yarns, promising “ultra-soft overnight jaw support.”

Offered in two shades — Clay and Cocoa — the wrap is designed for comfort and convenience, secured with velcro straps at the crown of the head and the back of the neck. The brand claims it provides “targeted shaping” while maintaining a soft touch suitable for long hours of wear.
The unusual concept has sparked curiosity and skepticism in equal measure. Within hours of the launch, social media lit up with reactions ranging from fascination to confusion.
Some followers asked practical questions like, “Does this help with forward head posture?” while others wanted more insight into the wrap’s alleged benefits.

Not all feedback was serious. “Because we all can’t afford face lifts,” one commenter quipped, poking fun at Kris Jenner’s well-documented cosmetic procedures. Another added, “Wonder if Kris was the guinea pig for this product,” referencing Kardashian’s mother’s prominent role in the family’s beauty business.

Yet some users were less amused, questioning the larger cultural implications of products like the face wrap. “This is getting weird, how are we normalizing this?” one commenter wrote. Another posted darkly, “We’re not going to make it, are we? Humans, I mean.”

Despite the mix of reactions, the face wrap is in line with Skims’ track record of headline-making, sometimes controversial, product launches.
Just last month, the brand introduced the $108 Hip Enhancing Padded Short, targeting consumers looking to add volume to their hips without surgery or exercise.

“Get the iconic SKIMS hourglass silhouette in seconds with our newest hip-enhancing innovation,” read the promotional copy on the brand’s social media.
Before that, Skims unveiled the Ultimate Butt Enhancing collection — a line of padded garments, including shorts, bodysuits, and leggings, promising to deliver curves “magically” without a single squat.

And perhaps most memorably, Kardashian grabbed attention earlier this year with the release of a pierced nipple bra — a daring piece that pushed both fashion and marketing boundaries.

In a statement tied to that campaign, Kardashian explained the mindset behind these bold choices.
“I love being able to push boundaries and bring humor to our campaigns,” she said. “We love showing how looking and feeling your best should be as simple and easy as putting on Skims.”

Whether the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap becomes a cult hit or a passing gimmick remains to be seen.
But as with most Skims launches, Kardashian has once again managed to spark both conversation and controversy — all while redefining the limits of what shapewear can be.
