Kim Kardashian Sells Rare Birkin Bag for $50K on Her Family’s Resale Site

The bag features palladium hardware, double handles, a twist lock and lock & key closure. According to the product description, the bag is in “good condition” with minor signs of wear.

The Porosus Crocodile Birkin is one of the most expensive and exclusive bags in the world, as it is made from the skin of the saltwater crocodile, which is native to Australia and Southeast Asia. The bag is only offered to “a highly respected VIP client” by Hermès, according to experts at auction site 1stdibs¹.

Kim is not the only Kardashian-Jenner who owns this rare bag. Her sister Kylie and her mother Kris also have Himalayan versions of the crocodile Birkin, which have white gold and diamond hardware and can fetch up to $480,000 at auctions.

Kim has been spotted carrying Birkin bags on various occasions, from business meetings to soccer games. She even passed on her expensive taste to her daughter North, who once had a $10,000 Birkin bag.
