Kim Kardashian Faces Backlash Over ‘Idiotic’ Remark Mocking Kate Middleton’s Disappearance

Kim Kardashian has joined the fray of conspiracy theories swirling around Kate Middleton’s recent absence from public view. The Skims founder, aged 43, sparked a mix of backlash and applause when she playfully teased the situation on her Instagram, poking fun at the Duchess of Cambridge’s sudden disappearance.

In January, Kensington Palace announced that Kate would take time away from her royal duties to recover from abdominal surgery. But speculation reached new heights when Kate, 42, shared a heavily edited Mother’s Day photo with her three children, fueling rumours.

Kim seemed to relish the buzz around Kate’s whereabouts as she captioned her latest Instagram post, posing next to a car, with a quip: “On my way to go find Kate.” While some found the humour in it, others, like Instagram user Melissa98x, slammed the reality star, calling her caption “idiotic.”

Others, like Graceofherstyle, expressed concern for Kate’s well-being, saying, “Not you trolling Kimmie, Kate probably going through hell.” Even followers like Tatooed_mama_21 voiced disappointment, saying they’d expected better.

Predicting more drama, @maria_spicegirlsfan commented, “Omg, that caption is going to stir up so much more drama.” Some even compared Kim’s post to recent jibes from actress Blake Lively, who used humour to address similar rumours.

Acknowledging the divided opinions, Shanplus_co noted, “The world is divided into two groups. Those who are living for and those who are loathing this caption. Kimberly is a mother for this caption.”

Others, like Jacobmullerhair, found Kim’s post hilarious: “I’m f*****g dying at the caption.” This comes after Blake Lively also joked about Kate’s absence to promote her drinks brand, Betty Buzz.

Piers Morgan added fuel to the fire, claiming he’s heard “alarming” rumours about Kate behind the scenes.
