Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson briefly reunited during the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary celebration (SNL50) on Sunday night.
According to Page Six, the former couple was spotted chatting at an after-party at The Plaza Hotel. However, an insider close to Davidson clarified that the interaction was “purely platonic.”
“He has nothing but love and respect for Kim,” the source stated. “They are on good terms. He hopes everyone can move on.”
Star-Studded Event
The SNL 50 event saw numerous celebrity guests, including Alec Baldwin, Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, and Steve Martin, as captured in Vogue’s event photos. Kardashian made a dazzling appearance in a skintight silver Balenciaga couture gown, paired with silver platform heels and sultry waves in her hair.
Kardashian & Davidson’s History
Kardashian and Davidson first sparked romance in October 2021, when she hosted SNL and shared a kiss with the comedian during a Disney-themed sketch as Jasmine and Aladdin. Their relationship lasted for nearly a year before ending in August 2022.
At the anniversary special, Kardashian participated in a sketch with Will Ferrell, Scarlett Johansson, Kristen Wiig, Ana Gasteyer, and Fred Armisen. In a lighthearted moment, Wiig playfully spanked Kardashian while portraying her classic Dooneese character.
Moving On
Kardashian has been reportedly dating someone outside the public eye, described as a real estate entrepreneur. However, sources also noted that she has been seeing multiple people and met the entrepreneur through mutual friends.
Meanwhile, Davidson recently spoke to Page Six about the intense public scrutiny surrounding his love life. “I’ve had some pretty adult relationships with some pretty amazing women, and when it’s ended, it’s been cool,” he said. However, he admitted that the constant attention has been “humiliating and upsetting.”
“Everyone is dating everyone in Hollywood,” he added. “But because I’m ugly, they wrote about me. I was harassed for like five years, and it made my life a living hell.”
