Khloé Kardashian’s recent claim that she no longer edits her photos is facing strong pushback from fans, many of whom are not convinced.
On the latest episode of her show, Khloé in Wonderland, the reality star responded to a viewer who accused her of Photoshopping every picture she posts. Kardashian, 41, insisted she no longer edits her Instagram images — though she admitted that wasn’t always the case.
“I think there was a time when we were all consumed by this filtered lifestyle,” she said. “We couldn’t see ourselves without a filter.” She acknowledged that while she still occasionally feels self-conscious, she now prefers video over still photography. “I don’t think I’m the most photogenic, but I’ll take 500 photos to get the one I like — and that’s OK,” she added.
Reflecting on her past editing habits, Kardashian admitted she now finds some of her older images almost unrecognisable. “It’s humiliating that I even thought that was a version of myself,” she said, adding that she’s since made an effort to embrace authenticity.
“I had to reprogram my mind,” she explained. “We have to lay off the filters. That’s not how I look, and I don’t want to look like that.” She concluded, “But now, no [Photoshop].”
However, her remarks were immediately met with scepticism online. Viewers pointed out that even the podcast video appeared filtered. “This damn video has a filter. What are we even talking about?” one Instagram user wrote.
Others mocked the timing of her confession. “In the pasttttttt? Now, babe 😂,” one fan commented, while another added, “And by past, she means yesterday.” Critics continued, with one writing, “Still sitting there delusional with a filter on the video chileeeeee smh.”
Another user simply asked, “Why are you still lying, Khloé? It’s okay, we know you still do.”
Kardashian’s representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Page Six.
The reality star has previously faced accusations of digital alterations. In April, Reddit users pointed out discrepancies between a promotional podcast photo and raw behind-the-scenes footage seen on The Kardashians. One commenter wrote, “This is insane. These are two completely different people.”
In June, Kardashian opened up about her cosmetic procedures in an Instagram comment responding to a plastic surgeon’s speculation. She confirmed having a nose job, Botox, laser treatments, and even a salmon sperm facial, while attributing her appearance changes largely to an 80-pound weight loss.
