Kent Police Launch Manhunt After Woman Allegedly Raped in Tesco Toilet Cubicle

A woman has reported being raped after a man followed her into a Tesco toilet cubicle in broad daylight at the Bridge Road store in Sheerness, Kent.

The incident allegedly occurred between 1:37 p.m. and 2:19 p.m. on Tuesday.

The suspect, described as an Eastern European male around 30 years old, 5ft 3in tall, and wearing a blue tracksuit, allegedly sexually assaulted the woman inside the store’s restroom.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward. Detective Inspector Samantha Stuart noted that CCTV footage revealed several people entering the toilet area during the incident, including a woman who helped the victim.

Authorities are particularly interested in speaking to individuals who used the supermarket toilets between 1:37 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
