Katie Price, the 46-year-old model and reality TV star, has revealed that she tragically suffered a miscarriage after falling pregnant unexpectedly over Christmas.

The mother of five, including her children Harvey, Junior, Princess, Jett, and Bunny, had been open about her desire to expand her family.
She shared that she and her boyfriend, JJ Slater, whom she began dating in January 2024, found out they were expecting during the festive period.

However, a scan earlier this month confirmed the heartbreaking news that she had lost the baby.
Katie had been told last year that she was perimenopausal and had only a 1% chance of conceiving naturally. “We weren’t even trying,” Katie explained, but when she missed her period and began experiencing symptoms like sore breasts, bloating, and nausea, she took several pregnancy tests. After receiving positive results, she was filled with joy and excitement. But when the line on the test didn’t darken, she sought blood tests and a scan, which revealed that the pregnancy was no longer viable.

Katie described the experience as devastating. Although she expressed gratitude for her five children, she noted how deeply maternal she feels.
“I’ve always been deeply maternal and love nurturing and caring,” she said. Despite her sorrow, she is still determined to try for another child with JJ and has teamed up with baby loss charity Tommy’s to raise awareness for grieving mothers.

This loss marks Katie’s fourth miscarriage after previously suffering from three other pregnancies that ended in heartbreak, as well as an ectopic pregnancy.
Katie, who has also been open about her past fertility struggles, shared in her documentary, Katie Price: Making Babies, the challenges she faced with IVF and failed treatments. Despite setbacks, she remains hopeful and committed to trying again, expressing her desire for “more babies.”

The news of her miscarriage comes as Katie continues to navigate her personal life while facing significant emotional hurdles. Despite the pain, she remains focused on offering hope to others who are also struggling with fertility challenges.
