Katie Price has hit back after Peter Andre posted a strongly worded Instagram message criticising his former wife.
The pair met on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2004 and went on to have two children — Princess, now 18, and Junior, 20 — before separating in 2009.

In his post, Andre said he had remained silent for 16 years in the face of “repeated lies” from Price and her family, but had now decided to respond.
“That ends today,” he wrote.
The 51-year-old said recent remarks about his children’s welfare and living arrangements had forced him to “set the record straight”.
Andre said Princess and Junior came into his care in 2018 for “well-documented reasons” relating to their safety, and remained with him until they reached adulthood.
He revealed that a 2019 family court ruling had formally confirmed the arrangement, something he said he had never previously shared out of respect for his children.

Andre also referenced legal cases in 2011 and 2015 in which courts found Price had made false claims, resulting in orders to pay damages, legal costs, and issue an apology.
“The same falsehoods are being repeated today,” he added, promising to address “many more lies and baseless accusations” in the coming months.
In a statement to Metro, Price’s representative said she was “in a much better and clear headspace” and did not wish to engage in “tit for tat comments”.
The statement said the matter was now “in her lawyers’ hands” and insisted Price “will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was”.
Shortly after Andre’s post, Price used her Instagram Stories to promote a pair of tummy tuck leggings.
The exchange follows Price’s criticism of producers behind The Princess Diaries, an ITV2 reality show starring her daughter.

Speaking with her sister Sophie on her podcast The Katie Price Show, she claimed she had been “deliberately cut out” of the programme for branding reasons.
Price said she supported both Junior and Princess in their careers but was “hurt” at being excluded from her daughter’s first reality project.
She described attending her children’s school events, sports matches and awards ceremonies over the years, adding that she valued being involved in “everything they do”.
“Princess is taking that same path as me,” she said. “I absolutely love and adore that about her.”
