Katie Price has publicly appealed for her son Harvey’s protection after missing a bankruptcy court hearing in the UK to undergo a £10,000 facelift in Turkey.

Price, who was staying at a five-star hotel in Turkey costing £133 per night, stated in an Instagram post that she had been in Turkey filming a documentary. She claimed she would be “detained at the airport” upon her return, which the “courts feel is necessary.” Addressing her son Harvey, 22, who was with her in Turkey, Price requested that authorities allow “some dignity and protection” for his sake, noting that the situation would be “alarming” for him.

Acknowledging the gravity of her situation, Price argued that she was being mistreated and insisted that her financial troubles did not make her a “criminal or bad person.” She emphasized that her bankruptcy was a result of “serious mental health issues and breakdowns from PTSD” and expressed her commitment to repaying her debts. Price also hoped the matter would be handled with “care and compassion” for Harvey’s sake.

The former model was previously ordered to pay £25,000 following her second bankruptcy declaration. A judge had warned that she risked arrest if she failed to attend further court dates and issued an arrest warrant due to her absence and lack of explanation.

Price had been evicted from her “Mucky Mansion” and relocated to a new Tudor-style property costing £5,000 per month. She was declared bankrupt in 2019 and again in March over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05. In late July, Price claimed that her financial issues had been resolved.

On July 29, Price travelled to Turkey, sharing a photo of herself on a plane just hours before her court hearing. She was joined by her friend Lou Anderson and boyfriend JJ Slater. Price underwent her sixth facelift at the Trio Clinic in Istanbul during her stay. She also had dental work done and shared images of her new veneers on Instagram.

Price concluded by stating she was not embarrassed or ashamed of her circumstances, emphasizing that she was trying her best to rectify the situation and work on her mental health for the sake of her family. She maintained that she was committed to resolving her financial and personal issues responsibly despite the challenging times.
