The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, made a notable appearance with her family at a local church near Balmoral Castle. Kate was seen riding in the front seat of a Land Rover driven by Prince William, with their son, Prince George, visible in the back seat.

The family visited Crathie Kirk, the historic church on the Balmoral Estate, a frequent destination for King Charles during his summer visits to Aberdeenshire.

This marks Kate’s return to public life after her cancer diagnosis earlier this year. Her last public appearance was at Wimbledon last month, where she presented the men’s singles trophy to Carlos Alcaraz and received a standing ovation.

Kate’s previous public engagements included attending Trooping the Colour with King Charles in June and recording a video message with William for Team GB athletes at the Paris Olympics.

On this occasion, Kate wore a camel coat and a feathered fedora from Hicks & Brown, priced at £99. Meanwhile, King Charles and Queen Camilla travelled in a separate vehicle to the church. A guard of honour, formed by soldiers from the Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland, was present as the Royal Family arrived at the church.

King Charles has continued the tradition of spending summer at Balmoral, following in the footsteps of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who would stay at the estate until late autumn.
