Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has made her first public appearance of the year at the prestigious Trooping the Colour ceremony.

She was photographed alongside Prince William, travelling to Buckingham Palace in the back of a car.

This appearance is particularly significant as it is her first since Christmas Day last year. The Princess had been absent from public life due to undergoing planned abdominal surgery, followed by cancer treatment.

Despite her presence at the event, Kate clarified that she is still in the recovery phase and today does not mark a total return to her royal duties.

“I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much-needed time to heal,” the duchess stated, emphasizing the importance of her ongoing recovery process.
