Los Angeles, CA – The Kardashian-Jenner family became the latest celebrities forced to evacuate their homes as devastating wildfires swept through Southern California.
The Kenneth Fire, which broke out on Thursday, quickly spread across 1,000 acres, prompting evacuation orders in Calabasas and Hidden Hills.
Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Rob Kardashian reportedly left their properties as a precaution. While the evacuation orders were lifted, it remains unclear if the family has returned.
Authorities arrested a homeless man suspected of using a “flamethrower,” but officials later announced no arson charges would be pursued due to insufficient evidence.
The news prompted a fiery response from Khloe Kardashian, who took to social media, writing, “You sick mother—ers. What is wrong with people? Arson!!!! May you be fully prosecuted!!! What scum!!!”
Following their evacuation, the family turned their efforts to supporting those battling the fires.
Kris Jenner shared on Instagram that they partnered with Carousel Restaurant, a popular Lebanese-Armenian eatery, to provide meals for firefighters and first responders.
“My family and I wanted to feed a few firehouses today,” she wrote. “Carousel whipped hundreds of meals for brave firefighters, volunteers, and first responders. We are so thankful for their dedication.”
The Kenneth Fire, Palisades Fire, and Eaton Fire have collectively scorched more than 35,000 acres.
Experts estimate the wildfires could cause up to $150 billion in damages, making it the costliest blaze in U.S. history.
Despite round-the-clock efforts, the Palisades Fire is only 8% contained, while the Eaton Fire is just 3%.
The Kardashian-Jenners aren’t the only celebrities impacted.
Stars including Mel Gibson, Mandy Moore, Tina Knowles, Jeff Bridges, and Billy Crystal have also been forced to flee, with several losing their homes entirely.
As the fires continue to rage, officials are investigating the exact cause.
High winds and dry conditions, fueled by historic Santa Ana winds, remain significant contributors to the inferno that has left 10 people dead and more than 200,000 evacuated.
