Kanye West has sparked controversy again, vowing to go to “war” with ex-wife Kim Kardashian over a song featuring their daughter North West. The dispute erupted after Kanye released his “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine” track featuring North, without the reality star’s approval.

On Monday, Kanye wrote to X (formerly Twitter), “THE MAN MAKES THE FINAL DECISION,” asserting his stance. In another post, he added, “ALL KINGS LOVE WAR,” referencing a heated exchange with Kardashian regarding the song.

The conflict intensified after Kanye shared a screenshot of messages with Kardashian, where she voiced her disapproval of North being included on a track featuring Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is currently facing legal issues.

Kardashian had reportedly attempted to block the track’s release before Kanye published it in a now-deleted post. During their exchange, Kanye demanded that Kardashian “amend” her trademark for their daughter’s name to avoid legal complications.

In response, Kardashian reminded Kanye that they had agreed to trademark their children’s names at birth to prevent others from claiming them. She stated, “I asked you then if I could trademark her name. You said yes… When she’s 18, it goes to her. So stop.”

Kardashian also claimed she had sent legal paperwork to prevent North from appearing on Diddy’s song, insisting that “one person has to trademark!”
Despite this, Kanye refused to back down. He warned, “Amend it, or I’m going to war,” adding ominously, “And neither of us will recover from the public fallout.” The rapper intensified his remarks further, stating, “You’re going to have to kill me.”

Following the exchange, TMZ reported that Kardashian had issued a cease-and-desist letter to Kanye to block the track’s release at his Sunday Service event. According to reports, Kanye had previously agreed not to release the controversial sons despite allegedly skipping an emergency hearing with a mediator and a judge.
A source revealed to Page Six that Kardashian’s primary concern was shielding North from Kanye’s “controversial decisions,” particularly involving Diddy, who faces sex trafficking and racketeering charges. The insider emphasized that Kardashian’s “priority is the well-being and safety of her children.”

Meanwhile, Kanye accused Kardashian of keeping their four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—away from him. In a now-deleted post, Kanye wrote, “Yes, I have beef with people who froze my account, took my kids away, and tried to put me in jail, AND IT’S STUCK.”
Kanye claimed he doesn’t merely want to “see” his children but actively participate in their upbringing, particularly regarding schooling and daily decisions.

“ALL THESE RIGHTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM ME BY THE KARDASHIAN MOB HULU AND DISNEY AND THE BIGGER AGENDA TO USE THE SELECTIVELY BRED BLACK CHILDREN TO BE PLATFORMS TO INFLUENCE BLACK PEOPLE,” Kanye wrote in his tirade. He compared his current custody arrangement to “visitation in jail,” concluding his rant with yet another antisemitic remark.
The couple was married from 2014 to 2022, and their ongoing disputes continue to make headlines.
