Controversial US rapper Kanye West has made explosive claims on social media, alleging that his colleague and Roc Nation boss Jay-Z is plotting to assassinate him.
The remarks come amid a series of disturbing tweets in which Kanye also targeted Beyoncé and her family.
In his post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, Kanye asserted that Beyoncé used in vitro fertilization to conceive her and Jay-Z’s 7-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir. The rapper later admitted to deleting the post, claiming that Jay-Z had “made” him do so.
Kanye’s tweets escalated when he alleged an assassination plot against him. “I know Jay-Z is driving around like damn, I have to kill Kanye,” he wrote, adding, “I know it’s gonna hurt Jay-Z to kill me, but somebody’s gotta do it.”
He controversially concluded his series of tweets by stating, “Plus, I don’t want the Jews getting credit for my murder.”
These statements have intensified scrutiny of Kanye West’s erratic social media behaviour and raised concerns over the potential implications of his allegations as tensions continue to simmer within the entertainment industry.
Further developments are awaited as the public and industry insiders react to the explosive claims.
