Kamala Harris Caught Swearing and Joking Over Beer in Michigan, Amid Michelle Obama’s Criticism of Trump
Vice President Kamala Harris was caught on camera swearing and joking while sharing a beer with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer at a bar in Kalamazoo, Michigan, after a rally on Saturday.
The incident occurred as Harris appeared to forget that the media was present, commenting on their presence and joking, “Oh, we have microphones in here; they’re listening to everything.”
After realising the cameras were rolling, she laughed, “I overlooked that. We just told all the family secrets, s***.” Harris raised her glass in celebration, while Gov. Whitmer humorously suggested renaming the city “Kamalazoo” in honour of the presidential candidate.
Earlier in the day, Harris joined former First Lady Michelle Obama at a rally. At the rally, Obama criticised Donald Trump’s “obvious mental decline” and his “history as a convicted felon,” urging voters to reconsider their support for him. Obama expressed her anger at the indifference toward Trump’s behaviour, stating, “I hope you’ll forgive me if I’m a little angry that we are indifferent to his erratic behaviour.”
She highlighted Trump’s criminal record and questioned why he remained a candidate, saying, “In any other profession or arena, Trump’s criminal track record and amoral character would be embarrassing and shameful and disqualifying.”
Meanwhile, Trump faced criticism for arriving nearly two hours late to a rally in Pennsylvania. The delay was reportedly due to a three-hour interview he conducted with podcaster Joe Rogan earlier that day. Attendees expressed their frustration with audible boos and groans, and many left before Trump took the stage.
