Popstar Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey Baldwin Bieber, have welcomed their first child, announcing the joyous news in a touching social media post on Friday night.
The “Baby” singer, 30, shared a heartfelt image on Instagram of Hailey’s hand cradling their newborn son’s tiny foot, captioning it, “Welcome home.” The couple revealed their baby boy’s name as Jack Blues Bieber.
Justin and Hailey, 27, first announced their pregnancy in May, following a series of photos from their vow renewal in Hawaii that subtly displayed Hailey’s baby bump. While Hailey has shared several images flaunting her growing belly, she has kept much of her pregnancy journey private.
However, the model did open up about some unique cravings she experienced during pregnancy, such as pickles with egg salad and hot sauce, and mentioned dealing with lower back pain.
Hailey has also continued her modelling work throughout her pregnancy, appearing in various photoshoots, including a recent cover for W magazine, where she wore a bedazzled butterfly crop top and a flowy Isabel Marant babydoll dress.
In her interview with W magazine, Hailey said she waited until she was six months pregnant to announce the news because her baby bump “stayed small for a long time.” Despite speculation from fans that the couple might be expecting a baby girl—due to Hailey referring to their baby as a “cherry blossom”—the couple welcomed a son.
Justin and Hailey, who have been married since September 2018 after a whirlwind two-month engagement, celebrated their union with a star-studded ceremony in South Carolina a year later. Now, they embark on a new chapter as parents to baby Jack Blues Bieber.
