New York, NY – Jennifer Lopez experienced an unfortunate wardrobe mishap Monday night as she arrived at a star-studded benefit concert celebrating legendary composer John Kander’s 98th birthday.

The 55-year-old performer turned heads in a plunging peach gown with feathered sleeves outside the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
However, as she posed for photographers, the dress shifted to the side, resulting in an accidental nip slip. Lopez appeared unfazed by the moment and proceeded into the event with confidence.

Later in the evening, the “Hustlers” star was seen leaving the venue in a different outfit — a white high-neck gown with a dramatic train, complemented by a jewel collar, silver clutch, and matching heels.
The benefit concert, hosted by Alan Cumming, honoured the celebrated composer behind Broadway hits like Cabaret, Chicago, and Kiss of the Spider Woman. Lopez is set to star in a new film adaptation of the latter.

Earlier this year, Lopez premiered the musical drama at the Sundance Film Festival, where she received a standing ovation during the screening at Park City’s Eccles Theatre.
Overcome with emotion, she told the crowd, “I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life,” citing the influence of West Side Story on her childhood dream to perform.
The film, directed by Bill Condon, stars Diego Luna as a political prisoner in Argentina whose cellmate, played by Tonatiuh Elizarraraz, recounts a story featuring Ingrid Luna (Lopez), a glamorous screen icon.

Lopez also served as a producer on the film, alongside her former husband Ben Affleck. The couple separated in April 2024 after two years of marriage and finalized their divorce in January 2025 following a settlement involving their $61 million Beverly Hills estate.

In a candid October 2024 interview with Interview Magazine, Lopez addressed the split, saying she’s “excited” about her future and not currently seeking a new relationship.

“I know I’m a good person. I know I’m a good mom,” she said. “If you hope to have a long career, you have to learn how to deal with that part of the business.”

Despite parting ways, Lopez and Affleck remain on good terms and continue to co-parent their five children from previous relationships.
