Clad in a pink two-piece Aim’n shaping set, Lopez begins with a series of lunge stretches before delving into her weight-training circuit. Using dumbbells, she executes exercises like shoulder raises, squats, and bicep curls with precision.
Transitioning to core workouts on a mat, the 54-year-old “Shotgun Wedding” star shows her dedication to daily wellness, captioning the post with, “Daily dose of wellness…Happy Sunday, everyone.”
It appears that the video was filmed in the backyard of Lopez and Ben Affleck’s $60 million Beverly Hills, California estate, acquired over the summer.
The expansive yard is equipped with amenities like a trampoline for their five children, stone benches, and sculptures.
Lopez’s commitment to fitness is well-documented, as she famously eliminated carbohydrates and sugar while filming “Hustlers” in 2019. Despite grappling with cravings for bread during that time, she attested to feeling more diminutive and less swollen due to the dietary changes.
Lopez reflected on the challenge of resisting sugar, likening it to being in an alternate reality or universe where one becomes addicted and fixates on it constantly. However, she observed that her cravings had somewhat diminished by the end of the 10-day regimen.
She noted the physiological effects of cutting out sugar, stating that it reduces inflammation and leads to feeling more diminutive and less swollen. Lopez admitted that one could become addicted to that feeling as well.
Since then, Lopez has relaxed her dietary restrictions, as evidenced by sightings of her and Affleck enjoying meals at McDonald’s on multiple occasions. Despite indulging in occasional treats, Lopez’s commitment to fitness and wellness remains unwavering.
