Jennifer Lopez, 55, has been reflecting on a busy summer following her recent divorce from Ben Affleck.
The “All I Have” singer took to Instagram on Saturday to share photos highlighting her and her children engaged in various summer activities.
Alongside the images, she included a quote stating, “Everything is unfolding in divine order,” and another image featuring a shirt with the message, “She’s in bloom and unbothered out of reach and at peace.”
Lopez captioned the post with, “Oh, it was a summer.”
After two years of marriage, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20. The split comes after a reconciliation between the couple, who had initially ended their engagement 20 years prior. Sources suggest Lopez is particularly distressed by the separation, as Affleck had been the one to rekindle their relationship.
By the time the divorce was filed, the couple had already been living separately, with Lopez listing their official separation date as April 26.
Affleck recently purchased a $20 million home in the Pacific Palisades, while Lopez is reportedly seeking a new residence, feeling unsettled in their $60 million marital home, which is now on the market. An insider noted that the house, intended for the whole family, now feels too large and filled with memories for Lopez.
In a recent public appearance, Lopez was spotted in Los Angeles wearing a plain gold band and a diamond ring on her pinky finger following her divorce filing. She was seen exiting a black vehicle in Beverly Hills, Calif., before entering a building.
