Jennifer Aniston, the star of the hit sitcom Friends and the upcoming movie The Morning Show, has shared some of the secrets behind her ageless beauty and fit physique.
The 55-year-old actress posted a video on her Instagram account, showing her morning workout with Pvolve, a low-impact fitness app and studio focusing on functional movements and resistance training.
She also revealed that she follows the 15-15-15 method, which consists of 15 minutes on a bike, 15 minutes on a cross trainer, and 15 minutes on a treadmill.
According to Aniston, she started using Pvolve after an injury that hindered her from performing regular high-intensity workouts. She noted that Pvolve focuses on the small muscles usually overlooked by other forms of exercise, which has helped her enhance her balance, stability, and core strength.
Additionally, she mentioned that she has observed impressive outcomes such as decreased body fat, increased muscle definition, and better joint health.
The 15-15-15 method is another way Aniston keeps her cardio up without putting too much stress on her body. She said she likes changing her equipment to make her workouts more exciting and fun. She also said that this kind of workout is good for her longevity, as it helps her maintain her bone density and prevent osteoporosis.
Aniston’s fitness regime is effective, adaptable, and sustainable. She said that she tries to work out at least five times a week, but she also listens to her body and takes rest days when needed.
She said she enjoys yoga, pilates, and classes to stay motivated. Her workout philosophy is simple: “I can chase myself around a gym.”
