Israel and Palestine’s conflict has become worse. This led to over 90 Palestinians, including women and children, getting killed when Israeli airstrikes attacked two homes.

“Nowhere is safe in Gaza,” warns the U.N. Chief as Israel’s assault hampers humanitarian aid delivery significantly.

After a private talk between U.S. President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, the Biden administration has once again endorsed Israel diplomatically.

The U.N. Security Council adopted a resolution calling for immediate acceleration of aid supplies to desperate civilians in Gaza but not demanding a ceasefire, according to M10News. Israel pledged they would not cease until Hamas is abolished from power in Gaza and all hostages freed.

In the past week alone, the Israeli military has detained hundreds of alleged militants in Gaza, with more than two hundred being transferred to jails in Israel for further questioning. It highlights the controversial practice of mass arrests of Palestinian men. The army reports that over 700 individuals with alleged ties to militant groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad have been sent to Israeli lock-ups.

There is no denying the fact that nearly 85% of Gaza’s 2.3 million people have been displaced, and many parts of this small coastal enclave turned into ruin. The U.N. report, together with other agencies’ figures, reveals that more than half-a-million people, a quarter of the entire population of Gaza, are starving to death.

Hamas is responsible for most deaths of innocent civilians in Israel who live in residential areas, which they transform into combat zones, making it impossible to differentiate between militants and ordinary Palestinians. Despite growing international demand for ceasefires, Israel sticks to its guns and plans to keep fighting until Hamas is wiped off from power in Gaza and all hostages are released.
