Ireland: Cannabis worth nearly €500k seized in Tallaght, Dublin
The Garda (Police) seized cannabis worth nearly €500,000 in a recent drug bust in Tallaght. Operation Tara resulted in the arrest of four people in two separate incidents.
A car on Tallaght’s Cheeverstown Road was searched in the first incident, and €100,000 worth of cannabis herb was found inside.
According to M10News, the second incident was a planned search of a residential property in the area, where €378,000 worth of cannabis resin was discovered.
The four individuals arrested include a woman in her 40s, a man in his late teens, and two men in their 40s. The suspects are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
