Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah condemned Israels alleged role behind the pager and radio attacks
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has condemned an alleged Israeli attack that reportedly caused explosions of the group’s communication devices, calling it a “declaration of war.”

In his first speech since the attacks earlier this week, which resulted in at least 22 deaths, including two children, and over 3,200 injuries, Nasrallah accused Israel of orchestrating what he described as a “massacre.”

Nasrallah stated that the events of Tuesday represented a severe violation of humanitarian and ethical standards. He insisted that despite the heavy toll on Hezbollah, Israel had failed to achieve its goal of eliminating over 4,000 Hezbollah operatives, vowing to retaliate against the Israeli state.

“This blow, no matter how significant, will not break us,” he declared, expressing confidence that Hezbollah would remain steadfast in its support for Hamas and continue its attacks against northern Israel until the conflict in Gaza concludes.

As Nasrallah spoke, Israel launched a new series of airstrikes in Lebanon, accusing Hezbollah of turning the border region into a combat zone.

The Israeli Défense Forces (IDF) criticised Hezbollah for allegedly using civilian homes for military purposes and employing civilians as human shields.

Hezbollah and various Lebanese officials have attributed the recent explosions to Israeli actions, claiming that Israel had tampered with a shipment of communication devices intended for the group. This shipment was allegedly modified with explosive materials that detonated when a fake message from Hezbollah’s leadership was sent.

While Israel has not officially commented on these allegations, the attacks have heightened fears of an escalating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. The situation remains tense, with Hezbollah initiating missile strikes on Israel in solidarity with Hamas since October 8, leading to significant evacuations in northern Israel and southern Lebanon.

IDF officials have reiterated their preparedness for a potential multi-front war against Iran’s affiliates, as the conflict shows no signs of de-escalation.
