Helen Flanagan has called time on her relationship with boyfriend Robbie Talbot, just over a year after the couple first got together.
The 34-year-old former Coronation Street star had previously spoken about wanting more children with Talbot, a 45-year-old ex-non-league footballer. However, friends close to Flanagan say she has now decided to focus on her acting career and raising her three children.

A source told The Sun: “They want different things in life. She has just landed a new acting job and is trying to juggle work projects with the kids. She sat him down two weeks ago and said, ‘This isn’t working’. It was a grown-up chat. She just wants to be on her own for a while, although she still has feelings for him.”

Flanagan split from Scott Sinclair, the father of her children, in 2022. She met Talbot — a divorced father — shortly before appearing on E4’s Celebs Go Dating. The pair reportedly met in a bar and quickly hit it off. “He’s really, really funny. And he had the balls to chat me up,” she said in a previous interview.

Talbot moved into her Bolton home in September last year but moved out last month. In January, Flanagan received a six-month driving ban after her Audi, driven by Talbot, was caught speeding twice within 16 days.
“They had a bit of a wobble after the case,” the source added. “After he moved out it became easier for her to end things.”
