Just ahead of Bayern Munich’s Champions League clash with Arsenal, Harry Kane’s three children were involved in a car accident in Germany.
The incident occurred near Schaftlarn, south of Munich, as a grey Renault collided with a black Mercedes Vito carrying Kane’s children.
The children involved – Louis (3), Vivienne (5), and Ivy (7) – sustained minor injuries and were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Kane’s fourth child, Henry, born in August, was not present during the incident.
The Renault, driven by a 20-year-old woman accompanied by a three-year-old child and two adults, collided while attempting to turn left onto a motorway slip road.
Meanwhile, Kane was en route to London for Bayern’s crucial Champions League quarter-final match against Arsenal. Despite the personal situation, Kane managed to score a penalty during the game, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Reflecting on his move to Bayern Munich last summer for an initial fee of €100 million (£86.4m), Kane expressed satisfaction with his decision. He emphasized the need for a fresh challenge and new experiences in his career, praising the Bundesliga’s competitive nature.
While acknowledging the disappointment of Bayern’s Bundesliga campaign compared to rivals like Leverkusen, Kane remains committed to making a positive impact at the club. He affirmed his dedication to Bayern Munich, emphasizing his readiness to contribute significantly and turn things around, especially as the season progresses.
Despite personal and professional challenges, Kane’s focus remains on delivering performances and achieving success with Bayern Munich in the seasons ahead.
