Vice President Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign reportedly spent millions on celebrity endorsements and entertainment, including a $1 million payment to Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions on October 15.

This payment followed a star-studded town hall Winfrey hosted for Harris in September.

Winfrey also made a rare endorsement for Harris during her final rally in Philadelphia on the eve of Election Day, saying, “We’re voting for values and integrity. We’re voting for healing over hate.”

However, Winfrey wasn’t the only high-profile figure the campaign worked with. The Washington Examiner revealed that Harris’s campaign spent significant amounts on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, including a six-figure sum to build a set for Harris’s appearance. The interview, filmed in a Washington, D.C. hotel room, aired in October.

Additionally, reports from the New York Post show that the campaign allocated up to $20 million for swing-state concerts during the election’s final days. These concerts featured major stars, including Jon Bon Jovi in Detroit, Christina Aguilera in Las Vegas, Katy Perry in Pittsburgh, Lady Gaga in Philadelphia, and a performance by 2 Chainz in Atlanta.

Despite the high costs, political strategist Brad Todd emphasized that money alone isn’t enough to win over voters. “Advertising is important, but it doesn’t matter if the message isn’t compelling or if it’s tied to an unpopular administration,” Todd said, referencing Harris’s connection to the Biden administration.

The Harris campaign did not respond to a Fox News Digital request for comment on the expenditures.
