Comedian Frank Skinner has revealed he has married his long-term partner Cath Mason after more than two decades together.
The 68-year-old shared the news during an episode of his podcast Frank’s Off The Radio, surprising co-hosts Emily Dean and Pierre Novellie.
Skinner and Mason, who began dating in 2003, tied the knot in a private ceremony at Camden Town Hall earlier this week.
The couple’s 12-year-old son Buzz was the only guest in attendance and acted as the official witness.

Speaking candidly on the podcast, Skinner said: “You won’t believe what I did on Monday – I got married. I actually got married.”
Explaining their decision for a low-key wedding, he added: “We didn’t invite anyone. It wasn’t in a room. We got married on the stairs at Camden Town Hall.”
Skinner revealed that while he had proposed to Mason, she was not keen on a traditional wedding setup.
“I said, ‘Will you marry me?’ and she said, ‘I’m not having a party, I’m not going to church, no white dress, no ring,’” Skinner told listeners.

Initially taken aback by her response, the comedian said he dropped the idea but later agreed to a more minimal ceremony on her terms.
“About two weeks later, I said, ‘Okay, let’s do it your way.’ I did feel bad not inviting friends,” he admitted.
Skinner said he’s now gently persuading his new wife to consider hosting a party to celebrate the occasion with loved ones.
He also reflected on how Mason has influenced his comedy and personal life during a previous appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show.

He said being in a long-term relationship helps his work as a comedian, especially when it comes to understanding silences and awkward moments.
When speaking about arguments in their relationship, Skinner joked: “It’s like watching a band live – some new material and then the greatest hits.”
The couple welcomed their son Buzz in 2012, nearly a decade into their relationship.
Skinner has long been open about his personal journey, including his past struggles with alcoholism.
Sober since 1986, he has spoken in the past about how giving up alcohol made him a better father.
Appearing on Lorraine, he said: “I’ve got a kid now and I’ve never gone back to drinking. Being teetotal is a great gift for a child.”
He added: “People talk about second-hand smoke, but second-hand drinking can also be very damaging.”
Skinner concluded by saying the lifestyle change has had a positive impact on both his family life and career.
The veteran comedian continues to perform, host his radio show, and produce his podcast, often referencing his domestic life with humour and honesty.
