Former White House physician and current House member, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), has written a letter to President Biden and his physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, urging the President to undergo a drug test before his upcoming “CNN Presidential Debate” with former President Trump.
In the three-page letter, Jackson requested a “clinically validated drug test” to be conducted before and after the debate. He emphasized that the test should cover a wide range of substances, including performance-enhancing drugs.
Jackson highlighted the importance of debates in providing the American public with critical insights into the policy positions, leadership qualities, and ability to perform under the pressure of individual candidates.
He stressed that citizens must have absolute confidence in their President’s ability to fulfil the Head of State and Commander in Chief duties. The debate performance should reflect an individual’s capability to carry out these responsibilities without the influence of performance-enhancing drugs or mood-altering medications.
Referring to a recent Wall Street Journal report, Jackson pointed out concerns about President Biden’s alleged decline in sharpness as he faces increasingly complex challenges at home and abroad. However, Biden and his Democratic allies strongly disputed the report, dismissing it as a partisan attack.
Jackson also mentioned special counsel Robert Hur’s interview with Biden regarding his handling of classified documents, where Hur described the President as an older man with a poor memory.
Jackson accused Biden of using performance-enhancing drugs during the State of the Union address, citing instances of profuse sweating, intense yelling at the camera, lack of blinking, and frequent rapid hand movements and gestures.
It is important to note that these claims and accusations have been subject to ongoing debate and scrutiny.
