Former “Baywatch” Star Nicole Eggert Opens Up About Breast Cancer Diagnosis and Regrets Over Breast Implants

Nicole Eggert, the former star of the popular TV show “Baywatch”, has recently opened up about her breast cancer diagnosis and her regrets over getting breast implants at a young age.

Eggert, 51, revealed that she was diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer in early December 2023 after finding a lump in her left breast during a self-exam.

She said that she had difficulty getting an appointment for a mammogram and had to wait until the end of November to get it done. She is currently undergoing additional testing to determine the best course of treatment.

Eggert also shared that she regrets getting breast implants when she was 18 years old, while starring on “Baywatch” as lifeguard Summer Quinn.

She said that she felt self-conscious on the set and was pressured by the producers to enhance her appearance. She later had the implants removed in 2014, after experiencing health problems and complications.

“I wish I had never gotten them. I wish I had never done that to my body,” she said. “I think it’s important for young girls to know that you don’t have to do that. You don’t have to change yourself for anybody.”

Eggert said that she decided to speak out about her diagnosis and her past surgery to help other women who may be going through similar situations. She said that she has received an outpouring of love and support from her fans and friends, and that she is trying to stay positive and hopeful.

“I have a road ahead of me, but I’m really big into mind-body healing, so I feel like there’s no way I can heal if I stay upset and worried about it,” she said. “I have to think positive.”
