Ex-BBC Star Huw Edwards Subject of Bombshell Documentary by Producers of Notorious True Crime Series
A bombshell documentary focusing on the disgraced former BBC newsreader Huw Edwards is currently in development by Blink Films!, the production company known for creating shows about infamous figures such as Myra Hindley and Fred West.
The documentary is reportedly gathering testimonies from alleged victims of Edwards, who was recently handed a suspended jail sentence for making indecent images of children. This follows revelations from *The Sun* that he paid a vulnerable teenager thousands of pounds for explicit photos.
Insiders suggest that the forthcoming profile could ignite a bidding war among broadcasters, with Channel 4 and Netflix emerging as likely contenders. A source remarked, “A long line of people claim to have suffered due to Huw’s behaviour. This will see many of them speaking on screen for the first time and it’s likely to produce some particularly shocking new revelations.”
Blink Films! is no stranger to sensitive subject matter, having previously produced two documentaries for ITV about serial killers Fred and Rose West, as well as one on child murderer Myra Hindley.
The company has declined to comment on the documentary’s details.
