Erik ten Hag Reveals Five Man Utd Players to Return in Mid-January
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has confirmed that many players are set to return from injury in mid-January. The Dutch manager revealed this in a press conference ahead of the team’s match against Nottingham Forest.
The Red Devils have been struggling with injuries, but they are set to receive a boost in the coming weeks.
According to Ten Hag, Mason Mount, Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, and Tyrell Malacia are expected to return in mid-January. The manager also confirmed that he expects Harry Maguire to be back in the squad.
This news will relieve Manchester United fans frustrated by the team’s inconsistent performances this season. The Red Devils are seventh in the Premier League table and have big games against Tottenham and Aston Villa in their next five top-flight fixtures.
Ten Hag also encouraged Rasmus Hojlund after scoring his first Premier League goal in the team’s 3-2 win over Aston Villa. The manager expressed his trust in the young player and said that the plan would give him the confidence to score more goals in the future.
How Manchester United will fare in the coming weeks remains to be seen, but the return of key players will undoubtedly give the team a much-needed boost.
