Elon Musk joined President elect Donald Trump and his family for a victory squad photo in the wake of his election win but Melania was noticeably missing
PALM BEACH, FL— Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk joined President-elect Donald Trump and his family for a celebratory photo after Trump’s 2024 election win, marking Musk’s prominent support for the former president.

The group photo, shared by Trump’s granddaughter Kai on social media, showed the president-elect surrounded by family and friends at Mar-a-Lago on election night. However, Melania Trump, Trump’s wife and the former first lady, was notably absent from the gathering.

In the “squad” photo, the 78-year-old Trump is flanked by his five children, their partners, and some of his grandchildren. Musk, joined by his son X Æ A-12, posed alongside the family, marking his high-profile presence in the Republican’s victory celebration.

On Wednesday, Kai Trump, 18, shared the picture with the caption “The whole squad” on X (formerly Twitter).

Noticeably missing from the photo was not only Melania Trump but also Donald Trump Jr.’s fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, who had joined the family on stage during Trump’s victory speech earlier that evening. Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., stood front and centre in the picture with her children.

Tiffany Trump and her husband Michael Boulos, Ivanka Trump with husband Jared Kushner, Eric Trump with his wife Lara, and Trump’s youngest son, Barron, were all part of the gathering.

Musk’s presence highlighted his influential support for Trump during the 2024 election cycle. The Tesla and SpaceX founder contributed nearly $120 million to a pro-Trump super PAC, appeared at rallies, and even set up a $1 million-per-day giveaway to encourage voter registration.

Musk also took the stage with Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on October 5, just months after an attempt on Trump’s life in the area. At the rally, Musk addressed the crowd, declaring, “I’m dark MAGA,” as he urged voters to support Trump.

Musk’s political shift has been notable, especially after years of backing Democratic candidates, including voting for Barack Obama in both the 2008 and 2012 elections. His appearance and support at Trump’s election night event reinforced his alignment with Trump’s platform as the former president prepares for his return to the White House.
